Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first person in history to score a 10 for an Olympic competition. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian Gymnastics Coach discovered Comaneci as she was only 6 years old. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she won the competition in the year 1970. Three gold medals were awarded in her debut competition in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972 that was held by the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she was the junior champion in all-round competitions. When she competed for the first time as a senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turishcheva who was a five-time European champion winning four gold medals and one silver. In 1976, she was the world's first woman to utilize a reversed double salto for a dismount off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career in the entertainment industry in her teens, when she performed as the figure skating duo of the twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her entertainment career during her teenage years. She started her career as a figure skater performing with her sister Nina Wayne as part of the touring entertainment show named Ice Capades. They featured ice skating shows which included stage performances.
